The Nigeria DanceSport Federation (NDSF) is the national governing body for DanceSport. It was established 2017 by SRHD Sports Management Limited, a sports marketing and promotion outfit in Lagos, Nigeria. The Federation is set to take dance to the next level.
NDSF has been officially recognized, on 25th October, 2024, by the world governing body for DanceSport, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), as a member body representing Nigeria.
The mission of NDSF is to regulate, administer and develop DanceSport for the benefit of millions of athletes and enthusiasts at every level in Nigeria, continental, and world.

DanceSport is the name given to competitive ballroom and Latin American dancing. Most DanceSport athletes or competitors believe that DanceSport is both a sport and an art. It is important to note that DanceSport for most athletes and competitors is a passion, an art and a sport.Dance is an endeavour which improves the quality of life. In its simplest form, it provides pleasurable aerobic and weight bearing exercise, at the highest levels it can transcend language barriers as music and movement stir the emotions of audiences. DanceSport caters for all, just as most sport. For instant the case of wheelchair DanceSport, at least one of the dancers is in a wheelchair. DanceSport is fun.
